Alexandria Ware is a passionate child welfare expert with extensive experience in community-based services, state systems, and national policy. Currently serving as The Arthur Gochman Child and Family Advocacy Fellow, she utilizes her wealth of knowledge and expertise to benefit vulnerable children and families. Alexandria’s background as a 4H Youth Development Agent at K-State Research and Extension has provided her with a keen understanding of the significance of community-based services in improving outcomes for young people.

Previously, at Think of Us, Virtual Support Services, Alexandria held the role of Program Manager. Her contributions included establishing the foundation for the Virtual Support Services Department and serving as the Research Coordinator for the Away from Home Report.

In addition to her advocacy work, Alexandria serves as a national federal consultant, Support Coach, and trainer for National Youth in Transition Database NYTD Reviewers through JBS International Inc. Her expertise contributes to the ongoing development and effectiveness of NYTD initiatives. Moreover, Alexandria founded Culture Creations Inc., a nonprofit organization supporting Black and Brown young adults in and from foster care. The organization’s mission is to provide these individuals with the necessary resources and support to live holistically healthy lives.

Alexandria is also a co-founder and co-host of Diaries of a Black Girl in Foster Care, a podcast that sheds light on the unique experiences of black girls in foster care. Alexandria also founded Culture Creations Inc., a nonprofit organization supporting Black and Brown young adults in and from foster care. The organization’s mission is to provide these individuals with the necessary resources and support to live holistically healthy lives.
