I am a passionate advocate for young people, especially those involved in public systems. I have a long and successful track record in human services work in the public and non-profit sectors. I am also a practicing artist with teaching and administration experience.

Anthony has 15+ years of experience in advocacy, having successfully advocated for policies instituting foster youth tuition waivers and expanding over-18 policies in Massachusetts. He has also lobbied for Foster Child Grant legislation and guided the adoption of Siblings Bill of Rights in all six New England states.

Youth work has been a focus for 10+ years in a variety of settings, including social work, counseling, mentoring, psycho-educational group work, classroom teaching and life skills training. Anthony is comfortable with public speaking, speech writing, and media events, as well as keynotes and panels at national and statewide events.  He is also a skilled trainer for social workers and foster parents across California and New England.

Anthony holds a BA in Philosophy and Art from UMass Boston, an MFA in Printmaking from the San Francisco Art Institute, and an MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, where he was a Gleitsman Fellow at the Center for Public Leadership. He is an accomplished artist with an exhibition record and expertise in printmaking and digital media as well as an experienced art educator and arts organizer.
