"Can we still be listening to people in their forties, fifties, and sixties who experienced foster care? Because I'm forty-six, and I'm still healing."

I’m led by passion, empathy, vulnerability, humility, and justice. I’m driven by my lived experience, including being in foster care. I believe that if you mobilize the right people in the right way, you will create meaningful impact. I have 25 years of experience in non-profit organizations, the past twelve in executive roles. I’ve helped build a child advocacy movement in Boston and contributed to a more compassionate and humane homelessness response system in San Francisco. I strive to “”show up”” with everything I have in every room I enter and in every interaction. You might say that’s a tall order and a recipe for burnout, but I’m still going strong.

I’m a social justice seeker. I’m committed to contributing to greater justice in my personal and professional life. I’ve experienced injustice and contributed to it as well. You would be hard-pressed to find a social issue that at its root does not involve injustice and inequity.
