Dr. Bennett is a social worker, coach, and trainer. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Cetera. Dr. Bennett holds a Doctorate in Educational Program Development from the University of South Florida, and consults and trains higher education professionals nationwide who are working with youth from foster care.
After earning her Masters Degree in Social Work in 2010, Dr. Bennett accepted a position of Campus Coach with the Seita Scholars Program at Western Michigan University, located in Kalamazoo, MI. In that role, she had the privilege of coaching dozens of students with foster care backgrounds as they pursued their undergraduate degrees. In 2013, Dr. Bennett began leading the development of the Fostering Success Coach Training. To date, Dr. Bennett has trained several hundred coaches in a comprehensive coaching model to support underrepresented student populations in the United States.
Dr. Bennett holds an Associate Certified Coach certificate through the International Coach Federation. She has presented at dozens of national conferences in the U.S., providing keynote addresses and plenaries to hundreds of professional service providers. Dr. Bennett is viewed as a leading expert in issues related to coaching college students who have experienced foster care, and has a passion for helping people find ways to grow and reach goals through coaching.”
