Do you know someone changing child welfare?
Recognizing ReEnvisioning Foster Care Champions is part of the Treehouse Foundation’s ongoing effort to honor lived-experience leaders. By amplifying their voices, we advocate for their inclusion in child welfare, public policy, non-profit, and legislative decision-making.
Nominations are open until the last Friday in June each year and 10 new Champions are named at the national conference in November. Self-nominations or nominations by colleagues are welcome.
Nominees are reviewed for:
Creating a more just and humane child welfare system that focuses on improving outcomes and well-being for children and families.
Generating reforms that promote the inclusion of foster care alums in decision-making roles.
Inspiring widespread investment in foster care innovation.
Promoting lived-experience leadership to accelerate the transformation of child welfare.
Scaling innovations in child welfare and foster care.
