Jess Tierney
Jessica excitedly joined the Treehouse team in 2023, after completing her Master’s in Social Work at Fordham University. Prior to pursuing a career in Social Work, Jess supported people with disabilities in a variety of positions, and taught for several years — as a substitute teacher, environmental educator, and classroom teacher for first and fourth grade classes in the Springfield Public School System. Jess also served in AmeriCorps for two years and gained experience in clinical social work as a therapeutic mentor for youth with trauma residing in Springfield. Ultimately, Jess is highly creative and passionate, and her career choices are driven by the desire to be of service, as well as the idea that when all people and communities are seen and honored for their strengths, they naturally blossom into who and what they are meant to become.
